I figured it out. It's the red wire w/white stripe that turns on/off w/the key. It runs from the key thru the floor plate up into the battery compartment. Thanks anyways!

The years might be a little different, but PIN-8 of the 26-pin controller connector is 48+ switched ignition source. I tapped that pin back at the controller and use it as the trigger for my 48v/12v converter. This is easier than tapping at the keyswitch as you're likely going to position your converter back by the controller anyway. Shorter distance. Obviously test this pin to verify.
