1987 g2
I have a 87 g2 cart that has been giving me problems. You can be driving it and it acts like it runs out of gas take you foot off the pedal let it set a minute starts back up and drives. On its real bad days of doing this it will start then jump like the engine is trying to lock up. Any help would be appreciated

Re: 1987 g2
Take the cart out and let it do its thing as soon as it does take the plug out and see if you have spark and the spark plug is dry then it's fuel if the plug is wet and no spark then we have an ignition problem.. if it's dry start with pulling vent off the top of the tank and make sure it's not restricted second pull line off the carb make sure fuel is flowing if it's not check all lines for cracks if it is it the float is probably sticking take carb off and give it a good cleaning...if it's wet trace all the wires and make sure there is no broken or corroded connections let us know what you find

Fill up the tank full and drive it and see if its different.
Check and test one thing at a time |
