Default G29 speed sensor help

I would like to know if there is away to test the speed sensor on a 2011 drive? Thanks for any help.

To test if it's working, push the cart. It should beep and resist being pushed. (Run/Tow switch ON)

That's the most reliable test, IF the controller is good..

Thank you. I will give it a try. I have a 2011 G29 that I put new batteries in last month and the cart starts off strong but top speed is about 15 mph and dose not seem to have the torque it had before the batteries went bad. I have a six inch lift kit with 22" tires. Thought it may be speed sensor.
