Re: Club Car Transaxle Questions!
Your’re The bomb!
I found the spring on carts parts plus. CC parts ain’t cheap! I heard CC is high quality so it’s worth the money. Thank you all for your input and I hope this will help others with transaxle questions. |

Re: Club Car Transaxle Questions!
Can you post a photo of your driven clutch? Club Car made two styles; one from 1984-1987.5, and one from 1987.5-1996. Hopefully you have the newer style.

And yes, that is a 40 series comet. Measured the belt that came with the axle. Identical in shape+size of stock belt. Cheaper to run the 40 series drive and saves space. Will be compatible too with the driven.

Re: Club Car Transaxle Questions!
Ok yeah. You have the newer driven clutch
Here's the torque spring you want. For an added bonus you can send your whole driven clutch to CPP and not only will they install the torque spring, but they will machine the sheaves as well (I did the full treatment with the machining on my '87 cart): http://www.cartpartsplus.com/club-ca...orque%20spring |

Perfect thank you! (On another note) I noticed your’re in Ohio, I was born and raised there in Medina. (Just S. Of Cleveland.) currently serving so I am in a whole ‘nother world here in Arizona. I appreciate your help!

Re: Club Car Transaxle Questions!
Yeah I know where Medina is, I live about a half-hour from there. Yeah AZ sure is different than around here!
