Default AC Drive 2 .....8-6v vs 6-8v batteries

As i said before, I have 7 miles round trip to the golf course before I play my round. So I'm looking to get an electric cart that can get 20 miles per charge or so.

The AC electric cart I read goes further than normal. And theres an option of 8-6V batteries instead of 6-8volt batteries. I read this configuration can get another 30% in distance, but was harder to maintain?

What Do you guys think?

1)6 8volt batteries
2)8 6volt batteries
3)Quietec gas, and deal with the noise and emissions smsll

8 6V batteries is definitely the longest run time, giving you the most lead per cell in the batteries. I don’t know why it would be hard to maintain? It’s the same amount of cells to fill. I had a Club Car Carryall 2 with 8 6v and it was easy to maintain.

Have you driven the new quietec 2? Very little noise and the reworked muffler, I smell no gas fumes. The EFI will get you about 46 mpg. Yes the 8 6 volt would give you more run time. Might consider "watering system" for easy maintenance. Just some observations.

First time I’ve heard someone actually recommend a watering system.

Naw man, watering systems are the cat's meow. Every battery blown. Other strong selling points include can't easily verify the water level. Also, sticking (open or closed) floats resulting in messes and dry cells. And "just look at the float indicators" doesn't count as "verified", because a stuck-closed float will always indicate full, while never filling the cell.
