Default Help with USB charger installation.

I want to add an USB (see attached) like this to my 2008 Yamaha YDRE 48 volt cart. I'm not sure how to tie into the wiring and would like suggestions maybe from someone who has installed one or similar item. ThanksUSB Charger.jpg
Mine has the (4) 12 volt batteries...

Does yours have factory lights? Aftermarket lights?

No factory or aftermarket lights, just a factory fleet golf cart...My guess is that I would need a voltage "reducer" to take it down from 48 to 12 volts so follow instructions on reducer?

You said that you have 4 12v batteries. Based on the very limited power draw of a USB I would just connect it to one of the batteries.

Kind of my thinking but was not sure since batteries are connected together. I just need the USB for cell phone charging only so I would guess the load be very minimal...

You will be fine connecting to one of the batteries.
