Brake light always on
So I installed a "road legal" kit. Everything works great except i can't set the parking brake without it staying on now. I know it's because it's directly wired to the battery but how should I fix it?

Re: Brake light always on
Which kit did you buy?
Some kits have a timer so the lights turn off on their own. Others can be wired to the switched side of the key so the brake lights turn off when the key is off. |

Re: Brake light always on
As stated in Fairtax's post, my kit has a module (timer) that turns the brake lights off after about 10-15 seconds. You sure you're watching it for enough time?

Re: Brake light always on
I looked into the faq's and it's apparently set to a minute. I just noticed it was on and due to my limited patience had to run to the forums :)
Thanks for the wealth of knowledge (and patience that I sometimes lack) everyone provides here! I truly appreciate it! |
