2016 Precedent Gas Rear end issue
So I was riding around the neighborhood the other night and lost all transfer of power to the wheels. Motor runs perfect, belt is intact and expanding when given gas however the cart won’t move. I can feel and see it engage when going from reverse to coward and it will jump and inch or 2 but that’s all. It’s also making a grinding noise in the rear while pushing it. Maybe the rear end gears sheared? Seems a little premature. I just changed the rear end fluid a few weeks ago.
Any suggestions? |

Re: 2016 Precedent Gas Rear end issue
Are you shifting the lever on the trans itself or the FnR lever? I've had cables come loose at the trans bracket and the lever on the trans moves a little but not enough to fully engage into gear.
What fluid did you put in it when you changed it? If you hear grinding, you may want to drain the fluid and look for sparkles and chunks. |

Now that I’ve done more research it’s possible it could be the clutch
