help, tail lights flickering, 2003 CC DS gas

my tail lights come on w key, light switch not on. One tail is brighter than other. touch brakes, they flicker on, off, off ...Turn light switch on, tails flicker off, on...
Is this cart have brake lights? are tails supposed to come on with key? Is this bad ground? Does a pedal microswitch affect this issue.
(I searched threads and couldn't find this prob on first few pages)

depends what light kit you have, if you're supposed to have brake lights or not

As far as I know, it is stock car completely. Tails seem to go off when brk pedal applied

If you have a factory system many of those fake equipped with brake lights and should have a brake light switch on the pedal or on the frame near the pedal under the floor pan.
If the switch fails you can have strange flickering or brake lights that stay on constantly.

I would start there by unhooking the brake light switch and see if the flickering problem goes away.

Thanks for info!
It was brake micro switch under floor board on pedal and on pedal at park brake lock. Both were out of adjustment. Slots allow for adjustment.
Park pedal switch: remove rubber pad on pedal, two screws allow to adj.

Now all is good plus I have OEM brake lights.
