still have to check on mine, seemed to get better with new batteries but now worse than ever. my cart is a DCS why is a battery sensor necessary

It is your controller, I will just about bet my left n*@ on it. I was through all the troubleshooting stuff many times and it was on a rebuilt controller. Flight Systems had some bad componenets in the repair process.

DCS carts had a design flaw. They ate controllers under low voltage. That is why every DCS cart should have a battery meter and a driver who knows how to read it under load

does it shut the cart down if gets to low. where can i get a low priced one and how low should i allow a 36 volt to get.

No It doesn't shut the cart down! It fries the controller. A cheap one is the problem...... you need a more expensive one. 36v is as low as you should go. 38.4 is full

can i go to the 400dcx will that help on the controller issue
