Hole saw just the size of the threads, bind the wheel and bore it out,, faster than removing all the metal in the center.

A Dremel tool with a good cut off disc will slice the nut. Beware of cheap cut off disc. Get a dremel brand at Lowes or Home Depot type stores.

UPDATE!!! Ok finally decided to attack the rear wheel issue drilled the lugnut because I did not have enough room to get a nut splitter on it luckily I had only a little more than 1/4 inch of thread left inside the nut drilled it out removed the stud and replaced it GOOD TO GO!! Thanks for all the help and advice!

deffinately not fun but deffinately a learning experience its sucks when all that work bs gets in the way of you doing the fun stuff like upgrades!
