Question Help ... Battery Hold Down Stuck

Okay I admit I am new at this.

I removed the two nuts on the battery hold down posts. (long post in middle)

I cannot get the hold down to slip up the posts to remove it. Is there another
release or trick to get this off? Or is there so much corrosion in the hold down it
is just stuck?

Thanks for your help.

Thanks for all the help, LOL.

It is so nice to have a corrosion free battery setup.

No, I did not use 4 gauge wire. Went with the standard
6 gauge. Forgive me for I have sinned!!!!! 6 gauge is all I
could find locally.

I put the charger on for the first time and it went to 20 amps and sitting there.

When I bought this cart yesterday, the owner said he had not charged it in
5 weeks. So we will see how the batteries are.
