Default yamaha g2 question

i have a yamaha g2 and i have to rebuild the engine. i want to keep the original engine, but i want to make more power with it since i need to get it rebuilt. i was going to have the head ported and milled and have a over sized piston placed in the block. if anyone has any feedback about this please let me know.
thank you

Hey hid, I'll give you a bumpo here. Yes, you can do all that, jet the carb, improve the airbox and exhaust but you are still building on a base 9hp motor. IF you sqeezed a 25% gain out of, probably at the expense of reliability, you still end up with 11.5 hp. I've been there, there's just no substitute for cubic inches.....

I agree with Flint here. You will spend time and money and it will be better. But if you are like a lot of us, it still won't be enough. The big blocks are the only way to go!

Please listen to these guy's. They are talking straight. I know it sounds like alot of money, but all that work on the stock engine will be alot also. You could always sell off the old parts to help finance the Bigblock?

I agree with Ron who agreed with Flint and I also agree with everyone else that we are all in agreement that we should agree to agree about the agreement being agreed on.
