Noise When Backing up
I have a 1998 Yamaha G16a. I'm getting a squeaking noise what backing up and with no brakes applied. I have someone take the back wheels off and said the breaks looked good. What other things could this be? It only makes the noise when backing up. Thanks

Re: Noise When Backing up
WELCOME TO THE FORUM!
There is supposed to be a back up buzzer on these carts. It's a buzzer that activates when put in reverse. It should be loud, however, some people cover them with tape to make them quieter. If the cart has to move to make noise, it's not the buzzer. The buzzer activates when the cart is put in reverse. If that's not it, the yamaha guys will need to take over. It may be a common thing... |

Re: Noise When Backing up
Hey thanks for the reply. This forum is great. I enjoy reading all the post.
This is a noise only when I back up. I believe the backup buzzer is unhooked on my cart. It sounds like the brakes squeaking. |
