OK, after looking at the lights, here is what you need to do. All of the black wires tie together and are your ground. The WHITE wires from the headlights and the tail lights tie together and those are your headlights/running lights. The RED wires for each light are for your turn signals. The left front red wire goes to the YELLOW wire on the signal kit, the right front red wire goes to the GREEN wire on the signal kit, the right rear red wire goes to the BROWN wire on the signal kit and the left rear red wire goes to the ORANGE wire on the signal kit. Look closely and the red wire on the lights and they are tucked into the heat shrink.

BE SURE THAT THE WIRING DIAGRAM OF THE FLASHER MATCHES THE ONE YOU HAVE. IF IT DOES NOT MATCH THE DIAGRAM I POSTED EARLIER, LET ME KNOW.

Hope this helps.

Smile Re: New to wiring

Thanks so much, tonight at 8:30 I will give it a try. I can see why so many people use this sight.

Should i splice above the connector on the harness?

Cool Re: New to wiring

okay the lights work perfect but still having trouble with turn signals. I connected each corn to the proper colors but nothing happened. Then I conected just the from left (drivers side) up to the yellow from turn signal kit to the white wire and then the headlamp would flash.

The wires coming out of the front lights are:
Red & white wires coming out of the headlamp and black and white are coming out of the amber turn signal light.
If you have any other suggestions please let me know. I used a simple splicer you put both wires in and push down the middle is this okay to use?

Your turn signals are not grounded. Ground the black wire coming off of the amber lights to the ground on the headlights and that should fix your problem.

so then just splice the two black wires together?

Or should I take the black wire from the amber light and extend to negative on battery.
