Default OK. I need to try to fool my cart.

I have asked this question a few times. My 97' EZGO TXT Series cart is much faster and has much more torque in reverse than in forward. I am to the point that I back up steep hills. Is there any way to rewire the forward/reverse switch to fool my cart into thinking it is in reverse when it is really in forward? I hate to buy a new controller if I don't really need one.

What kind of controller do you have, is it an alltrax or stock

Stock controller. I think it is a Curtis 1206. Stock motor also.

check that out it may help a little bit, we need to confirm that your cart is actually wired correctly before we can continue to diagnose, yours is the non-dcs images

I will try switching A1 and A2. Could it possibly hurt anything if I do that? I can't afford to buy a new motor.

OK guys. I switched the A1 & A2 wires and I am proud to announce that I am back in the game!!!! The only thing is that my shifter handle is now reversed. Hey, I'm not gonna complain. The cart hasn't gone that fast in forward since I purchased it.
