Dry axle sound?
Not finding much on searches. On my '01 pds my axle is sounding dry when is spins even on jackstands, wheels removed. Brakes look good, I have removed the brake drum and it still sounds dry. I have not looked at the diff yet. Any help?

Re: Dry axle sound?
Try draining any remaining gear oil & then put 8oz of fresh in it.
