Default EZ GO DCS Wire Upgrade

I began replacing the factory wires on my 98 TXT last night with 1/0 welding wire (I know its overkill but its all I had laying around). I replaced 10 wires total but the premade kits consist of 12 wires. I am unsure which wires I have not replaced that will need to be.

First I replaced the 5 wires that tie the batteries into one another.

Then I replaced the 2 wires from the batteries to the controller

I also replaced the small jumper wire inside the controller box.

Finally I replaced the two main wires running from the controller to the motor (labeled A1 and A2 in this diagram)

The other two wires that ran from the controller to the motor were connected at the controller by small spade terminals... I don't see how you could upgrade these due to lack of space and small amounts of current being able to flow through the tiny terminals.

The only other wire I saw in the area was one that split into 4 small wires before it connected to the controller, again I am unsure how this would be upsized.

Any input would be appreciated. Thanks!

the other 2 wires you are talking about are for a fleet vehicle. Fleet carts have 4 main wires running to the motor. I believe you have upgraded all your wires that need to b. Maybe someone will chime in a either verify or I am forgetting 2 wires.

Ok I'm glad I didn't miss anything.

While on the subject I have a couple other questions,

1. Is there any harm in using such a large wire like 1/0 besides it being a PIA to work with?

2. What function do the other two wires serve that run from the controller to the motor? (labeled S1 and S2 in the diagram)

Thanks for the quick replies!
