I found the perfect shifter rod on ebay this evening. The auction had 3 minutes with 8 bids...the high bid was $18.67. I waited till the time was down to 11 seconds and bid $32.90. I lost the perfect "crooked" shift rod at $33.90. Oh! well! something may come up soon. Otherwise I could take a 3/8" rod about 20 inches and have it bent to the desired shape and have it chromed.
