Generic Air Filter?
Does anyone know of a generic air filter for the 98 EZ Go gas golf cart?
It looks like there should be a Wal-Mart, Fram, or other filter for it. Any ideas?  |

I'm not familiar with the 98 model but I assume that it has a classic square air box. When I upgraded my truck to K&N the mod kit removes the air box and you just have the conical filter which apparently aids breathing.
If you look at the K&N website you can design your own filter. Once the weather warms up I will buy one which has the correct end to slip over the throat of the carburetor and clamp down. Just another $0.02 Dave |

Thanks Dave. Yes you are correct. The 98 has the rectangular filter box, with a filter that goes over 90 % then a little flap that goes over the air intake portion of the carb. I would consider changing the intake if it is economical to do so.
