if you can turn the diriven clutch that should eliminate a problem inside the rear end. since you are now on the jack stands you can check the clutches . at slow rpms the drive clutch will be open and close up as you speed up the engine. on the rear driven cluch, it starts out closed and opens as the engine speeds up. when you do this what do you see?
no i cannot turn the driven clutch when its in gear only in neutral

well somethings frozen in the rear end. i guess the next step is to drop the differential pan and have a look see. let us know what you find. don't know if i ever asked, but with it on jack stands, can you move the wheels back and forth any at all? maybe the brakes are frozen if you can't.
