lol, if were that easy I wouldn't have built the little gadget to tension it. The real problem is non welded pivot nuts and very little clearance to swing a wrench. Yamaha's are a snap compared to CC's when it comes to belt changing.

Low battery. 11.4 volts. Started, charging at 12.7. Ran it around the course once. seams to hold a charge. starts and runs well with battery voltage. Will put the battery on charge.

Thanks for your help

12.7 is not enough re-generation. Although batteries are rated at 12 v the actual is closer to 13.2. You should be seeing a minimum of 13.5 to a good return of closer to 14v from your SG. Something is wrong. Start with the obvious; poor ground etc and expand your search from there.

put it in maintence mode and while running the cart and slowly reving up with your meter on battery posts your voltage should increase from approx 13. 3 up to 15.7 any higher theres a problem any lower than 13. 3 or so theres a problem...............................

I was wrong it charges at 14.7.

the battery after 6 hours charge showed 12.4V but didn't want to start. sat there for a few seconds and then started. Don't know if battery is good. there is a little window in the top of battery that does not show green.

Is battery screwed? If so what type of battery; deep cycle or reg car?

Ho do you test micro switches?

Thanks again

Don

a group 27 should drop right in, have battery load tested but if its running and your showing 14.7 seems charging system is working.....................
