Default 2001 ez go rear springs twisting

I have a 2001 ezgo txt and the rear springs are shifting on the rear axel and twing. This cart has been lifted . The round rubber donuts on the axel are on the bottom and the springs are overslung on top. The donuts are moving arond on axel, which puts springs at a angle. What are the intended use of those rubber donuts? I would like to to use u bolts and clamp those springs. Has anybody else had similiar problem?

I'm no expert by any means, but it sure looks like the rear spring support has been welded over to far, toward the outside edge. Causing it to try to return to its original position. Which in return, causes the spring to twist.

Maybe some of the other guys, with much more knowledge than me, can chime in.

Thanks for your input. I took apart every thing and have concluded ,when they removed the springs from being underslug, the cut off the spring locking tab on top of axel, so in effect it lost the locking of the springs. I welded perches on top of axel and now they will not walk on axel anymore. I noticed that the springs are slightly askew when cossing the axels, only minor, probaly part of the lift.
