Steering Wheel Play
Upon further inspection, it appears as if our cart is a 93'. That being said, it looks like the tie rod that attaches to the idler arm is loose. Has anyone had any problems with this? I took the steering wheel column off to inspect the teeth (their all there ). None of them look like they are worn or missing.
When the wheel is turned slowly to the left or right, the tie rod has some room to wiggle. There is also a boot above that that is busted. Can this be replaced? Is the tie rod the reason there is a little play? I greased the joint and it seemed to tighten it up a bit. Thanks for any help. |

Re: Steering Wheel Play
My '93 has a grease fitting for the steering cylinder thing at the base of the column.
Found if I keep it full of grease it steers alot better. |

Re: Steering Wheel Play
So you didn't have to adjust the tie rod that attaches to the idler arm at the bottom?
