Default Fuel pump vaccum line

Quick question in regards to my 96 DS

Recently put on a 6 inch lift and realized that the vaccum pulse line from the fuel pump to the crankcase is now pretty taunt. Obviously you don't want a bunch of slack in it but it seem considerably more taunt now than it was prior to the lift kit.

I didn't notice it at first and have ridden the cart around a bit with no issues so I don't think it's an issue but I'm wondering if I should replace it with one just a few inches longer. Don't want a low spot in the line that could collect oil but it seems pretty tight right now.

Any reason to change it or is it fine as it is now?

I would change it so as not to strand the wife and never hear the end of it.

Yeah, I was planning on changing it but my lazy side was sorta hoping not to. Pretty bad when a 2 minute job evokes my lazy side, guess it was just one of those days....

I get air pressure out of the hose from the crankcase to the fuel pump, and not much output of gas from the fuel pump. Why do I get air pressure and not vaccum?

The fuel system is a low pressure set up, I don't know the exact PSI that a cart's fuel system runs but it's got to be pretty low.
