Default Still have problems 48 V electric

Continue to have problems with Chinese golf cart. Electric, 48 volt limo type. Starts, accelerates for a few minutes, then slows to a crawl. Replaced solenoid, new batteries, but when lifted, rear wheels went a rapid speed then slowed right down. Any ideas would be appreciated. Wondering now if it might be the controller. I am not handy, and live in Panama which doesn't seem to have any competent troubleshooters!!!!

Might want to watch the voltage at the motor while you are driving... If the voltage drops when the buggy slows, check the battery/controller. If not, look at the motor and diff.

Good luck!

There is a LED that usually blinks that shows an error code.

It could be a number of things, such as the speed sensor. Did you change the motor at all ?

I doubt that it is hitting thermal cutback. Could be voltage cutback, you will need to see what voltage you have on your battery pack with a meter when you are accelerating and see how low it drops to.

The manual is online, and is a good reference point for the error codes.
