1987 club car electric smooth pedal then jerky pedal
My club car is a 1987 electric. I am having trouble with the pedal. sometimes it starts real smooth and other times if you push the pedal down half way then it will take off and is very jerky.Does anyone have any ideas on what the problem could be?????Could it be the lil slide control for the pedal or a solenoid issue.

Re: 1987 club car electric smooth pedal then jerky pedal
Had one of these, if you just nail the pedal you'll get a jerky takeoff because the cart will be getting a lot of juice immediately. The drive system on those carts was never the smoothest thing anyhow... Also, listen for clicks, at two clicks you should start moving, and then hear 3 more with speed increasing with each.
