Re: V-glide arcing / cart no go
Can a bad motor also cause the v-glide problem? I have recent posts on here because I was having motor issues. One day, I was using my cart, hopped back in it, hit the accelerator and.... nothing. No continuity on motor's A posts, had Metro GC put in new brushes and bearing. Now my cart's in the garage with a sparking v-glide and no motor movement. What else could be wrong with the motor? Thx for the input scottyb.

Re: V-glide arcing / cart no go
V-glides melt down when the amperage drawn through them exceeds their ability to handle the heat....a bad motor can create high amperage draws.
I don't know exactly what's going on with your motor but I would give the motor Co. a call. |
