Looks like the magnet prices will be coming down.

Thank you Jay. It is good to hear that it worked for you, I expect mine will also. They told me the magnet that I ordered would ship today and to expect about $7 for UPS charges. Like you say, still a good deal. I will post my results, my cart speed currently is 14 mph, I am hoping for around 20 mph after the magnet change.

I received the magnet, installed it and took it for a short test drive between snow storms. Not the best conditions for a test but I must say that I was a little disappointed. 14 mph before, 16 mph after. I was expecting about 19 mph. My batteries are 7 years old so maybe that has something to do with it.

That is what I thought. Ok to stick with Trojan 12 volt? I did not want to bother with the conversion because the cart does not get heavy usage.

Hey Guy's,
Great thread. Will the p16c25r4 magnet work on my 2004 Precedent?
Thanks,
Steve

My understanding is that it will work on any Precedent cart providing that you have the bolt on style sensor (it kind of looks like a top hat that has two bolts that attach it to the motor. If you have the plug in style sensor, it will not work.
