The G16 301cc engines have a good track record for reliability, and lend themselves to upgrades relatively easily (for example, Plowmans sells a service/kit for $420 that bumps you up to just over 14hp and is an easy hour bolt-on, they also offer the same kit for the 357cc engine that gets you 15hp) ... There are other Sponsors with performance kits and options too (Jetting, Exhaust, Intake, etc) so with a little money and some playing around You can easily end up with a 35mph cart with tons of torque and save the Thousands a BB will cost (although if You want that extra Gut-Wrenching power, the BB's are fun)
