Electric Club Car. How do I find the year it is?

Just got my 1st golf cart and I am in the process of redoing it. I was told it is a Mid 90's electric Club Car and I was wondering How I would find out what year it is. I need to get some parts and want to make sure I am getting the right ones. Serial # is A9753-640024. Looks like it is a 48 volt. Anyone got any ideas? Just checking out this site and there seems to be a lot of good information. Thanks for any help you guys can give me.

The information is found in the Stickys but I will break it down for you.

A=Ds model
97= 1997
53= 53 week
A9753 first set of numbers in your serial.

That's odd that its the 53rd week, typically there are 52 in a year. Technically, it's almost a '98!

That is kinda what I thought but I didn't think it was that big of a deal. So maybe it is the 1st week of 98? I doubt it really makes a difference does it?

No, doesn't really matter, I don't think those years had any changes between them.

That is what I thought. as I am looking up parts. (shocks, tie rods, etc) everything seems to be pretty much the same for that time span.
