97 Voltage reducer. Wired hot?
Struggling with my 97 DS.
Bought new batteries in April, installed them and cart has been unused at the park since. Used the cart this weekend and it didnt seem to have much of a charge, turned out first batt showed 5.8v while the rest show 8.45v. Took batt in to the batt shop I bought from and batt is good, just needs to be charged. This batt has two small wires that come off it that may go to the reducer (I will have to check tonight), then again that wouldnt make sense since that would only be 8v not 16v. So there must be another wire somewhere else. Is this reducer typically wired hot or after the key? Where is the reducer located on my cart? Thanks guys! |
