Default Converting from 9 HP robins to 23 HP Briggs

What all does this entail, besides the 23 HP Briggs. I have heard a lot of different stories and suggestions. Is this easy or not, and is this very time consuming.

The easiest way is to buy the "conversion kit" in the following link ------------> http://www.cartpartsplus.com/23-hp-v...gine-kit-ez-go

I know the price sounds high but unless you have the skill, tools, equipment & time to manufacture everything (header, engine cradle, wiring harness etc..) this is the best route to take in my opinion;plus with the kit even a caveman can do it in a few short hours.

I installed a 16 Briggs V-twin in my 93. The planning took some time, but the actual time it took to fab/install added up to about 3 days. The hardest part was designing and fabricating the engine cradle. You can purchase one though.

I can get the engine local cheaper, but so far no one wants to sell the rest of the kit without me buying the engine from them. any ideas.

The wiring on a Briggs is very simple. If you do a search for 'Briggs', you will find everything you want to know.
