Default Robin engines-good or bad

I am looking to buy my first Ezgo cart , 2006 model with 13hp Robin engine. I am not a mechanic by any means and have read unfavorable comments of Robin motors. Should I stay away from a cart with this motor? The pictures are of the 2006 13hp Robin engine in question .Do not know the model of this engine. Thank you for any help.

Where are you reading those unfavorable comments? Those engines seemed to be liked around here and i'm just guessing but the engine is likely the 350cc model.
