2003 ezgo electric ignition switch
After doing a search on my question I found this answer from Scotty B. on a 84 ezgo switch from 2012.
"The 3 position 4 terminal switch is actually 2 separate switches. One pr terminals is 36v+ in and out and the other is 12+ in and out... So 2 feeds (different voltages) and 2 loads. I have the switch with 2 keys $25." When I check my ignition switch, I have 19.2 on two lugs and only 6 volts on the other one that goes to a light bar. The above is in the on position. When I turn the key all the way to the right, the 19.2 changes to 12 volts and the other stays at 6 volts. The cart has no voltage meter like in Scottys B diagram. Am I doing something wrong or is this just a different switch set up? Thanks in advance for any help. Last edited by 2003ezgoelectric468; 11-12-2013 at 07:57 AM.. Reason: I have no Idea how this landed in ezgo gas. Sorry for the mistake. |
