pete the track man
Hi all First time on BGW
I have a ez-go Gas powered cart. It is a 2003 model with a 295cc Robin engine. I was just wondering if anyone had tried the water treatment to get rid of the carbon in the combustion chambers. I noticed that there was alot of burnt carbon on the spark plugs but I dont want to pull the engine appart. any advise would be good |

Should work some. Basic principles should apply down the line on engines. If there's that much black though, could mean rings are going?

Re: pete the track man
160lb sounds plenty good to me compression wise. Give it a good fogging and change the plugs after. Give it a month and check plugs again. Could be valve guides if you keep getting crud.
