95 medalist won't stop running
So about a year ago my medalist wouldn't do nothing when you hit the gas, I changed out the micro switch in the floor and all seemed well. Last week it started it again. I thought well might have just got a bad switch. So today it won't stop running. I can even turn the key off and it still runs, I unhooked the micro switch, and it's still running. So I take it as the solenoid is bad? Just wanting some expert advice from some of you guys. The positive cable on the battery. Was getting pretty hot as well, so hopefully I'm going in the right direction.

Quick update, I unhooked the positive battery cable. Waited a few seconds and put it back on and it started right back up. So I kept the positive cable off when I walked in to post. I went back out there and tried again, it's working fine now.

make sure to use a golf cart solenoid, they are continuous duty cycle, automotive ones are not.
