They'll fit in your Precedent. They're taller. Other than that, they fit the same way. The battery hold down rod will work, barely.

Re: Trojan Ranger 160 Batteries...better than standard for Club Car?
I always ask this question, how much more will I get out of them over the 875's & how much more cost is it going to be, then I have to determine if I actually do need that extra range & is it justifiable for the extra cost. Same thing with the travelers, they will last longer but cost considerably more.

My longest round trip is 10mi. T-875's work good for me.

Re: Trojan Ranger 160 Batteries...better than standard for Club Car?
Thanks for all of your comments. The batteries finally arrived today. Surprisingly in Hong Kong I got a better price on the Rangers than I could have on the 875s (different suppliers). I'm after the bigger "gas tank" so these batteries should suit me.
Everything fits... Except my watering system. The local supplier doesn't know anything about this. I also can't find anything with a Google search. Can anyone point me at where I can buy one? Many thanks in advance. |

Re: Trojan Ranger 160 Batteries...better than standard for Club Car?
Happy to report back after 6 months of daily usage that these batteries are totally awesome. I have never run the batteries down more than 50%, whereas with my Standard Club Car Batteries, I had several flat battery incidents within just a few weeks of purchasing the cart.

After two weeks of running on Rangers, best money spent, great long distance, much better than the Interstate set I had before.
