Default brake cable too short after lift kits installed

HI Guys i just installed lift kits for my 1997 ezgo txt. But i find the driver side brake cable is too short, like 3 inches.

Any idea how i should proceed?

Yep, buy 2 new passenger-side ones so you have a new pair of good working ones.

Thumbs up Re: brake cable too short after lift kits installed

Just installed a 6" lift on a 2005 EZGO TXT. I blocked the passenger side first, then when I was doing the driver's side, I couldn't quite get the axle in place because of the short brake cable.

Here's what I did. There is a hanger up by the battery compartment that the brake cable hooks over before heading down to the wheel. Lift the cable out of that hanger and it will buy you several inches of slack in the line. I was able complete the rear assembly. I don't necessarily like how the brake cable angles down under the cart, but it is a steel cable, so it shouldn't be too fragile.
