Would you buy a waterproof on-board charger?
Please vote 1 time in the pole above even if you see the pole in multiple locations.
Thanks for participating. I would like to know how many of the members would be interested in a waterproof on-board charger. The charger would be built specifically for on board use. It would be small, lightweight, high 25-30a output, smart charging, auto off. The charger would cost about $375-395 dollars. However shipping would be $15-20 anywhere in the USA 3 day mail. Warranty would be 1 year. |

Re: Would you buy a waterproof on-board charger?
Being that it would be a "smart" charger and shut off when it suppose to, yes. Light weight is also a plus. I hunt primarily with my cart (I also fish....so water..well...you know) and hunting in the rain is very common. Or driving thru rain puddles....or rain "trenches" is also very common.

If I had to buy one, and had that option, I would definitely buy one for the simple fact of being able to plug in anywhere.

I figure sportsmen and people who travel or camp with their buggies would enjoy such a charger.
Small Smart Waterproof High amp output (this is critical) It means a lunch break charge can extend use well into the evening. |

If it had a trickle charge "float" function as well, one of those might be a necessity. Currently my old TC III does all I need.
