Default convert dcs to series

I am looking to convert my 96txt dcs to a series to handle the 22" tires for hunting. After researching series looks like the way to go. Talking with an individual over the phone, he has a motor attached to the rear end out of a 36v club car for $250, said it was series. The number on motor was (A8732) and (124767) any way to identify what this is and if it will work for what i want?

Club car motors dont fit on ezgo (dana) axles. Best to scrap the clubcar idea.

BUT if you are getting the motor AND axel....and if the axel will drop in.....you would need to verify the mounting points for the springs/shocks.....that could work.

Stop - the DCS cart is not a true sepex drive system..... it's a bit of a crossover producing more speed than series and more torque than PDS. Simply upgrade it with the new XCT control and enjoy the torque and speed on 22s.
Or I may trade you a series cart for it if you are close.

That was my plan to start with. I started reading the series was better. What amp is best 400amp or 500amp.

Lot of factors figure into the equation but, basically 400a for stock motor and 500 for aftermarket.... if your terrain and load is severe then a stock motor isn't going to cut it. For severe duty
use a 500a XCT control/ D&D 502.1/2g cables/ and 42 or 48v for best results.

Email me if you want a cost breakdown.
