I figured that much but it's going to be a month or so before I lift it. Once I lift it the springs go on top of the axle right? That would bring everything back into alignment.

Fits non-lifted Club Car DS models gas & electric 1982-Up
For LIFTED Carts you will need to use "Grade-8" Straight Bolts in place of the U-Bolts, due to the U-Bolts not being long enough for the extra leafs in the springs
i have not had this problem, done 3 and never took off the brake cables
one thing... did you install the springs right ? longer spring arm (from center) goes to front

Well... THAT'S interesting!
I've changed my leaf springs 3 times and never noticed a difference with the center point!

I was messing around with something else when I took off the brake cables. I can get them hook back up but the brakes are engaged. So regardless they would have been tight.

The hanger? Please explain. EDIT: forget this. I see what your talking about now. And no, that does nothing. The room I need is between from where the cable connects to the frame and the brake arm. I could adjust the cable a mile from from the frame connection back to the brake pedal and it wouldn't make a difference.

And by the way, I measured my springs and they were the same lengths from center in both directions. I think they are different on presidents.

And how does this even work. How to you hold the axle and spring together with straight bolts? That makes zero sense.
