This cycle will continue as long as the pedal is all the way down.

Also, if You just lifted one wheel off the ground, that wheel is now turning at twice the speed it normally turns.
Thanks for the info! I had both wheels off the ground. FYI...the cart is slow with the wheels on the ground to. One thing...I tried to reset the OBC using the sticky thread, but I am not getting the reverse beep to let me know the process started.

That sticky only applies to old Series carts.

On the newer carts like Your Precedent, just unplug the pack negative for more than 10 minutes and the OBC will reset.

The first time You drive the cart after the OBC successfully resets, the battery warning light will come ON for a few seconds.

The OBC however has nothing to do with you problem.

If You got the rear brake issue fixed, exactly how fast does it go down hill with the pedal all the way down?

I noticed you said you were getting 48 volts to the motor with the pedal to the floor, but this is when it's up in the air with no load applied to the motor. What is the resting battery voltage of all of the batteries combined?

The reason I asked for speed downhill was to eliminate weak batteries off the equation.

My precedent when it was running just on Speed Code 3 would not go any faster than 12mph up my hill.

It would however go up to 17mph down Hill before the Controller would increase the Regen brake current enough to slow it down to around 13mph.

If You feel your cart actively preventing it from going faster than 11mph (Regen braking is engaging), You either have your controller set at a lower speed setting than 3, or your MCOR is not providing the signal needed for the controller to allow 100% output.

You can check the MCOR output by measuring the voltage on the Yellow wire, Pin #2 on the controller 16-pin connector.

The connector should be in place, You need to use a "back-probe" on the back of the connector pin or use a "wire piercing" probe on the yellow wire itself.

The Yellow wire needs to get above +4.65v for the controller to recognize 100% throttle.

If the MCOR signal is correct, a "speed magnet", which is a 4-pole magnet should get you to the maximum speed Your controller/motor will allow.
