Starter/generator issues again!
I'm on my second starter generator within a year and now its the second time I've need to change the brushes on the replacement Stater/Gen. (replaced them less than 100 hours ago on the aftermarket starter/gen). i replaced my voltage regulator the last time i replaced the brushes. The only accessories i have is LED undercarriage lights and a radio that are both wired in behind the panel. i check the brushes a few eeks ago and all was good. now after a few long rides the brushes are bottomed out and the cart wont run. Whats going on here? the only thing i notice is that the engine gets pretty hot when riding for more than 30 minutes or so. I can feel the heat thru the seat. is that normal?
