Default 2005 36 Volt EZ GO TXT PDS Motor Swap

I have a semi used AMD DG1-4003 48 Volt PDS Motor from a 2005 Yamaha G-22

I want to know if I can put this motor onto my 2005 36 Volt EZ GO TXT PDS?

I know the yamaha and the Ez Go have the same Dana Differential (19 Spline)

Aside from bringing the EZ GO up to 48 Volts does anyone know how I should hook up the PDS wiring since the Yamaha Plug end on this motor is different from the wiring on the EZ GO.

Is the plug for speed monitoring? I thought you only needed A1, A2, F1 and
F2 on the motor for a PDS. I installed a D&D on my PDS. I ignored the speed wires out the end, and just wired the A1, A2, F1, and F2 up.

Don't forget a 48V relay, and a 48volt charger. I converted from 36-48. I fond a nice charger on ebay that keeps the same style plug. The DPI 48V charger.

If you are running the DCX controller, dont even worry about the 3 small tach sensor wires, DCX doesnt use it anyway. You arent gonna gain much tho, it is about a 24 mph motor on unrestricted 48v.

Same speed as the 36v on DCX control... But the 36v motor can be overvolted for more speed and torque.

I would assume i need to upgrade to at least a 400 amp controller, heavy duty solenoid and 2 or 4 gauge wires?

But, as we have learned, the stock 36v PDS motor is not a good long-time friend with 48v.
