I guess that means US Battery uses different chemistry in the plates. Whatever it is, it is not limited to just US Battery vs Trojan. My DPI charger has different charge algorithms for US Battery, Trojan, Exide and Full River, and Trojan has the lowest voltages for the absorption and float stages. |

If you buy one of the chargers linked to, be sure to tell them you have US Battery batteries.
It appears they have brand/model specific charge algorithms. |
