On The Road Again
o
That was along time to be without my Cart. Had to save up for batteries, BUT. Cart would not run. I finally figured out,I thought it was a seliniod problem, BUT on the phone to order I told the gentleman I was not getting any continunity on the selinoid. So we went thru some testing with my multi-meter and he said that was not my problem. After 10 minutes on the phone he said sometimes over by the charging port that little 18 gauge wire with the spade connector is loose or corroded. I could not get the connector apart,BUT I touched the pedal and the cart leaped forward. He had found the problem. Never would I have thought it that wire would have anything to do with my issue. It had to complete the circuit. As you know my cart had 360 watts of solar panels on top and I have never plugged my cart in, so why would I suspect the charging port. I was getting ready to take my cart to Scotty for him to fix to and a lift kit. Thank You evdrives.com Got new batteries but now I will never know how many more years I could have got. [6 years] |
