Default Re: Series to PDS?

I have 2 different harnesses coming from under the cart. Neither is the throttle. I'm guessing one is key and the other is f/r switch? What else could they be?

What could be slowing down my series cart? The only thing I can think of is checking the condition of the brushes? Could the controller be faulty?

You would have one harness that went from controller/ solenoid to where the FR switch was, and the other harness would be 4 wires going from controller and solenoid to the ITS and Microswitch under the floor mat unless I'm mistaken

For your slow series cart there are a few things to check right off.

First, check the batteries. Make sure they have water covering the lead plates and post the total voltage and individual battery voltages. If you know how old the batteries are post that too.

As for mechanical, check that your brakes aren't dragging. Doesn't take a lot to loose 1 or 2 mph.
