well the shipping time seems to be improving. I have been ordering small engine parts from over there like primer bulbs and carbs and the time is less than 2 weeks on most stuff. Now if I need it in a hurry I order from a US vender. These are more of a want than a need so I don't mind the wait/

Yep. I get most in less than 2 weeks. I order lots of small engine parts as well. Saw mostly. I get some items in 7 days. Then there some china sellers that it seems t take 30 days. And they usually mark package shipped the next day or no longer than 2. I swear they must use a boat.

Did you check each battery's voltage with your simpson 260 when the battery voltage dropped to 15 volts before you put it on charge?? The load test you made would suggest your batteries may not be the problem. You may have a bad connection on one of the jumper connections.

When the machine died the Simpson would show me a "surface" voltage of around 35-6. but as soon as you step on the pedal the needle falls rapidly.
We spoke to the man we get our battery's from and told him our situation,I explained what I knew and the neighbor gave his rendition of it and the man told us sadly the battery's we got may be near end of life. He said he load test them and if they test good he has no real way of knowing how many cycles they went thru or if they sat low for a long time or whatever. So it is back at the neighbors, and the battery man told him to charge each 1 with a 12 volt charger till it went to 0 and and after he got all 6 done that way, to hook up the golf cart charger and let it go to 0. If the battery's fail after a short time of use, they are no good.

sad thing is, my dad's cart has 6 in it from the same "batch" as we went and got 12 at the same time. Dad's cart goes for a few days and needs charging. The last set could go more than a week and not notice a change at all.

I think once we get this issue resolved we are going to look into maintainers that can be hooked up all the time and not hurt the battery's.

got the meters today. Look to be ok, seems to be accurate compared to my other meters I use.
I hope to get mine mounted in the next couple weeks. The neighbor was happy to get his.
