its possible. I doubt it based on the short length I drove it (20 minutes). I'll charge it up (hopefully) manually doing each one, get a shorter cord, or use no cord at all. And keep you posted.

Thanks for everyones help.

I have a 2008 RXV located at my beach house and only get to use it every 2-3 weeks. The best money I ever spent on my golf cart was for a DPI charger. When I leave the beach I plug it in and forget about it.

an rxv wont allow you to drive it "so low the charger wont turn on", it shuts down at 20% Soc.

would it be a bad idea to hook multiple battery chargers up? 1 for each battery? They are trickle chargers 1.5amp..... if that matters.

If you saw my previous post I mentioned a Sav-A- battery. They are great. If the power should go out they restart when power returns regular chargers do not. They only put out 2 amps to keep the batteries topped off. Low amperage will not cause gassing so low water is not a problem for months. I've had mine for at least 2/3 years and never a problem. A worth while investment when batts cost $7 or 800 a set. Shop around ,prices vary. BTW it will also recharge the entire pack , but take longer then factory charger

Get a maintainer for your battery voltage - not individual ones.

Went out to visit the cart. First battery charged on my trickle charger......moved it onto the 2nd one.

I took the golf cart charger home and connected it directly to the plug, it did not error out right away like it did on the 100ft extention cord at the lake. Lesson learned I guess.

I did order a sav a battery 48v. Should get here tomorrow.

Chargers don't like long extension cords unless they are real heavy duty ones.
